SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- After investigating dozens of consumer credit-counseling agencies, the IRS is revoking the tax-exempt status of nearly all of the firms for failing to serve the debt-laden consumers who seek their services, the agency said in a report released Monday.
